Excellent Medical Care
The hospital provides a wide range of general medical care, enhanced by the specialties surgery, orthopedics and spine surgery, and pain therapy and palliative medicine. Each department and center has its own department head. Every team has a number of qualified specialists, therapists, and nurses who specialize in the treatment of individual conditions. We ensure the highest level of care not only during the day – each department has its own specialists on call 24 hours a day.
State-of-the-art technical equipment is available for diagnostics and treatment. The hospital has a digital radiology, CT, and DSA system. The hospital also has a 1.5 Tesla MRI unit. Endoscopy, ultrasound, echocardiography, and many other special examination methods in the respective centers supplement diagnostic procedures in internal medicine. The neurology department has its own stroke unit. Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) center
A special focus of the department, with a renowned international reputation, is the section for minimally invasive surgery (“keyhole surgery”). As one of only three clinics in the Munich metropolitan area, it is a certified center of competence for minimally invasive surgery.
One of the main specializations of the department is artificial joint replacement including complex revision operations. Endoprosthetics and orthopedics, shoulder surgery, and arthroscopic and trauma surgery. All procedures for Shoulder, Foot, Hand & Elbow Surgery are routinely performed.
The center bundles all the expertise for the treatment of patients with back pain and spine-related leg pain. The causes are as varied as the treatment methods. They include disc protrusion, spinal canal stenosis, disc degeneration (osteochondrosis), fractures of the vertebral bodies, or spondylolisthesis.
